The ARCTIC Alpine 17 CPU Cooler is a compact and efficient air cooler designed specifically for Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 processors. Combining a compact radial heatsink, wide-range PWM fan control and easy tool-free installation, it is an excellent cooling solution for home, office and everyday desktop PC builds.

The Alpine 17 features an innovative aluminium heatsink with fine Y-shaped cooling fins. This design increases the available surface area while optimising airflow through the heatsink, providing effective CPU cooling within a compact footprint.

Its integrated PWM fan operates across a wide 250–2700 RPM speed range, allowing a compatible motherboard to automatically adjust fan speed according to CPU temperature. This helps keep noise low during lighter workloads while providing additional cooling performance when required.

The fan uses a high-quality Fluid Dynamic Bearing (FDB) designed to reduce friction, operating noise and heat generation while improving long-term reliability. With a rated noise level of just 0.3 Sone, the Alpine 17 is well suited to systems where quiet everyday operation is important.

Installation is quick and straightforward thanks to the Intel push-pin mounting system, requiring no additional installation tools. ARCTIC MX-4 thermal compound is already pre-applied, so the cooler can be installed directly without purchasing or applying separate thermal paste.
